Follow the steps below in order. If a theme block fails to load, refresh the theme editor and confirm CHAOBROStudio is installed on the same store.

Install CHAOBROStudio
Install the app from the Shopify App Store or your development store, then open Apps → CHAOBROStudio in Shopify Admin.
Confirm the app loads at https://app.chaobrostudio.com and that your store uses an Online Store 2.0 theme (for example Dawn).
Tip: Use a development store or duplicate your live theme before testing blocks.

Add CHAOBROStudio Field blocks
Add custom options to your product page:
- Online Store → Themes → Customize
- Open the default product template
- Select Product information → Add block → Apps → CHAOBROStudio Field
- Configure field type (text, list, or file upload), label, and property key
- Add up to five Field blocks for multiple options
- Save the theme
Tip: Add blocks under Product information, not as a standalone section.

Add CHAOBROStudio Design (optional)
For visual editing with live preview:
- In the same product section, add block → Apps → CHAOBROStudio Design
- Upload a product mockup image (PNG/JPEG, ≥1200px wide recommended)
- Adjust print area sliders so the dashed box matches your printable region
- Enable Require confirmed design before add to cart to prevent checkout without confirmation
Tip: Use a mockup at least 1200px wide for sharper live previews.

Test the storefront flow
On your storefront product page, verify the buyer experience:
- Enter custom text or upload a design file
- In Design Studio: edit text, image, or pattern and watch the live preview update
- Click Confirm design before adding to cart
- Complete a test checkout

Review orders in admin
After an order is placed:
- Open Apps → CHAOBROStudio → POD orders
- View custom line item properties, design previews, and upload links
- Open an order for full customization details

Connect Printful (optional)
To automate print-on-demand fulfillment:
- Open CHAOBROStudio → Printful in the app admin
- Enter your Printful API credentials
- Map Shopify variant IDs to Printful catalog variants
- Submit or auto-submit eligible orders from the order detail page

Choose a plan
CHAOBROStudio offers Lite (free), Startup, Growth, and Advanced plans with limits on personalization settings, monthly orders, and storage.
Select a plan from the app Pricing page or your Shopify admin billing flow. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial where applicable.
